Might have discovered the worst announcing duo in any sports league ever. On top of probably the silliest league going.

I haven't driven past this yet but the one guy I work with lives in Buford. Said the thing is insanely stupid and much nicer than a ton of college football stadiums.
Naturally they did tear down low income housing for part of this and took some empty land for the rest. As it was explained Buford City schools "select" who can and can't come to their schools and when new neighborhoods are built they must meet certain "specifications". The guy I know luckily is in unincorporated Buford so he is not part of that school district. But if you live in the city your taxes essentially doubled to pay for the stadium.

It is right here: 34°07'11.0"N 83°59'27.1"W. The street view shows prior to building but if you look across the street check out the insane High School. Looks like a university.

That stuff is crazy. Years ago I was going to Texas to visit my wife's family and a co-worker asked where I was going. I answered Houston, well Katy - thinking he would not know Katy. He responded "oh where the football stadium is". At the time, unbeknownst to me, Katy High School's football stadium was being built and it's cost was a national news story.

Texas! We wont use tax dollars to upgrade our electricity grid - but a 70 million dollar high school stadium? No problem.

I don't know what's more embarrassing. That the guy couldn't even pitch from the mound, or that the Orioles offered him a contract.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT LONG RELIEF IS?"

San Diego Padres lead the league with 9 shutouts of other teams.

Pirates have been shut out 9 times.

I can't find a list of how many times each team has been shut out, but I'm sure the Pirates top it.

Thunder to the NBA Finals.
If the Pacers make it, there will be a first time winner from one of those cities.

I don't count the Sonics win for the Thunder even though they took the history with them when they moved.

This is a multi-billion dollar industry. There is no excuse for not getting ball/strike calls right.
