I mean, does anybody think Mark Carney is some kind of radical leftist? He's been a banker most of his life, he's a small 'c' conservative who decided to lead the Liberal party and become prime minister. He's basically a modern day conservative like Peter Lougheed or Joe Clark, but we are so quick to place people in silos these days. I like you have voted Conservative in the past, but I just get so tired of all the culture war bs they spew these days along with their grievance politics. Instead of continually saying 'Canada is broken', tell me what you plan to do to fix it?

I think if somehow Mark Carney was chosen as Conservative leader when it was time for him to pick a side (because I think that was still a question at one point) I would have voted Conservative as he is certainly more moderate socially.

I dont want anything to do with these scummy trucker convoy, anti vaccine clowns that have saturated the Con party.

I think young people are screaming for change/help. Many are hopeless. Cons are the only alternative at this point but come on ... they will not change things for you. They will promise things to you but the only people they will end up helping is the ultra rich and their cronies. Look south at what is happening down there with right wing promises. Their agendas are the same.

I also think there's a real chance we will see a fracturing of the Conservative party in Canada with a battle between party members who want to stay/go more extreme right wing versus those that want to return to the centre.
