I agree that the Rams put themselves in a better position for a strong QB class in 2026 than they were before last night.
Why does everyone else have picks and we don’t ? D;
Ya have forgotten one significant ingredient. Just because ya have the picks doesn't mean ya have a trade partner who wants those picks especially one that would let the Rams trade all the way up to get a guy like Manning. Cleveland stands a better chance of getting Manning because they have already made it known they want Manning as well and their record will be way worse than the Rams.
You are taking a risk that is a year away. Everyone just assumes that somebody will become that trade partner similar to what happened last night with Houston and the Geeants and the Rams. Everyone first assumed the Texans traded with the Rams, than the Geeants, but it was really the Falcons.
The Rams can't be arriving at 32 this year and expect to be able to trade all the way up to get Manning next year.
