Are you serious?

Have you watched Townes play?

Yes, he is slow footed. Lots of slow footed players can win offensively if they are skilled enough.

Jokic and Luka for example.

Have YOU watched Towns play a full season?

he looks slow footed on the defensive end cause he has no interest in bearin down and playin it. He lazily uses his upper body to try and slow down his opponent, and that shit ain’t gonna work at this level

On the offensive end , I have seen him take on small forwards and beat them with inside moves and dipsy doo finger rolls for an easy 2

No. But there is no way you watched him in Minnesota to compare.

He wins on offense Because he is big, strong and skilled.

He does not move his feet well defensively. Never has.

At least in New York Thibs was able to get him to put effort into rebounding again.

Thanks for showin up!

Did you watch him in Minnesota?

If you didn’t, then you can’t claim that he hasn’t put forth more effort in NY.

KAT was a monster rebounding his first 4 seasons, then his numbers took a drastic hit after 2019 until this year where he posted a career high.

Care to guess who his coach was in Minnesota?

Tom Thibodeau.

Thibs last year with them was 2019.

Coincidence?

Nope. Thibs has been able to get more effort out of KAT than anyone else.

No… TOUCHÉ

He played less games for a few seasons where his #s dropped, injures?

He is now at or around same #’s when he entered the league

Don’t think coach has anything to do with it

Go ahead and ask a Wolves fan about Townes effort last few years.

Yep.
Plain as day.

Imho....Game 2 a few days ago was more of an anomaly for him than anything.

Reggie Miller practically begging for a brawl saying he loves physical playoff basketball when he is one of the least physical players that I can think of is amusing.

Just send the COY award to Detroit.

Pistons are the first team ever to triple their total from the previous season (14 to 44).

You don’t get to pay a coach to tank a team on purpose then all of the sudden say ok you can try now!
Monty was sabotaging the team, slightly different than planned tanking with the same result.
