He’s also now three ahead of Crosby who selfishly played many additional playoff games compared to OV, making Syd’s close proximity less impresseive.

I hated hearing how Ovi had never scored a playoff overtime goal in 45 playoff goals. Mario Lemieux never had a playoff goal and he played in 107 playoff games. Neither did Gordie Howe, Marcel Dionne or Mark Messier. It was such a stupid stat as OT playoff goals are so rare and most often scored by random players.

Now those idiots can shut the fuck up.

I realize you probably meant OT playoff goal.

I did laugh at most often scored by random players just because there is some truth to it (probably just small sample size) and I pictured a coach motivating his team with "alright 3rd and 4th line wingers... and defenseman who haven't scored in 20+ games... this is your time to shine!!!"

Probably in a retirement home wearing ridiculous clothes and griping about the kids these days. So basically doing the same thing he did for years, just not getting paid for it.

I thought that they played petty good. I think maybe more playoff jitters to start but settled in nice. I think this may be a tough series.

They did play well in the 2nd half of the game, but it's been a trend down the last stretch of the regular season that they fall behind in games and then they rally late to win or force OT. You can pull that off occasionally and especially against non-playoff teams, but it's not going to happen very often in the playoffs.
