yeah that..my bad.Thought he tore his Achilles?
In which case, I don't care what it looks like, who says he looks outstanding, I'm out on a RB who tore his Achilles, for at least the next 2, probably 3 years

Just noticed, you need a new AV and taglineHuge difference between looking good
Medically and being an elite athlete.
Well, if D'Onta Foreman is the latest example of Achilles recovery, Dobbins could eat into King Henry's touches.I don't care what it looks like, who says he looks outstanding, I'm out on a RB who tore his Achilles, for at least the next 2, probably 3 years
#1, that's assuming the Ravens re-sign himWell, if D'Onta Foreman is the latest example of Achilles recovery, Dobbins could eat into King Henry's touches.
until he injures something else
I think the doc is saying "you should take him on your fantasy team, but I'm not taking him on mine"Crazy.. I've heard plenty of coachspeak. Not too sure that I've heard a lot of 'doctor speak'. They don't often comment much beyond the medical side of things. His knee might very well look 'outstanding' on his scans and whatnot (it should, he's the one that rebuilt it), doesn't mean he's gonna 'stand out' on the feild.
Speaking of Foreman, achillies injuries and timelines--
Akers might be viable again at some point this year or next..maybe
I know. I know.Just noticed, you need a new AV and tagline![]()

Although I think there may be some fact to it, there's not likely to be near the target share and it may not be the norm. ... So what ya got Fact or fiction ?
Agree with @SmokingMonkeySo what ya got Fact or fiction ?

Or maybe Greg Roman has an attachment to Dobbins from their Ravens days?it appears the Chargers are not at all set on having Gus as 'the guy', not if they're entertaining visits from one of the very few remaining 'names' available .
yes he was..from 2019 to last year. encompassing all of Dobbins career, and all but one year of Gus's. If anyone would know if Gus could be the guy or if it should be 1A/1B type situation, it should be him.Or maybe Greg Roman has an attachment to Dobbins from their Ravens days?
Wait? Was Roman OC of the Ravens?
Perhaps our friend @HaroldSeattle has a ray of hope left in all his Dobbins investments. ... hope for his sake something is there. ....Dobbins meeting with the Chargers...LOL
I mean, I still don't buy Dobbins as a realistic option this year, like at all, but it's telling that if anything, he currently seems set to eat into Gus's touches- not King Henry's. Which just makes me giggle with the utmost glee
At the minimum, it appears the Chargers are not at all set on having Gus as 'the guy', not if they're entertaining visits from one of the very few remaining 'names' available .
Although I think it is FACT that JAC desires to get Tank more involved, I pretty much convinced that, at best, he serves as a breather back for EtienneJaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Tank Bigsby needs to be more involved in the team’s rushing offense in 2024.
“We have to get Tank going, the bottom line. He is too good, that’s why we drafted him. I think early he had some ‘what is that’ type plays for whatever reason right or wrong. Again, in and out of the lineup,” Pederson said. “He is a young player that we’re excited about. Like we talked about last year, we take some burden off of Etienne [RB Travis Etienne] a little bit, keep him healthy for the remainder of the season.” Pederson told NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry last month that the team would cut down Etienne’s workload in 2024 after he racked up 325 touches in 2023 — more than any running back besides Christian McCaffrey. Bigsby was a disaster during his rookie campaign. He was benched for large swaths of the season after costly turnovers early in the year. Bigsby played just 141 snaps and had 50 carries for Jacksonville last season. The Jags, who took Bigsby in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, seem intent on giving him another chance in 2024.
At 6'0", 213, he's less of a 'tank' than somewhat sveltly built Etienne (5'10" 215). Not entirely sure where he fits in other than a straight up back up. Etienne 3 series, Tank 1, rinse lather and repeat.Although I think it is FACT that JAC desires to get Tank more involved, I pretty much convinced that, at best, he serves as a breather back for Etienne
. ... maybe a 70-30% split.
its slow..so why not?
Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz said an NFL coach told him QB Michael Penix is a “freak show” and “locked in first rounder” after his strong pro day.
Penix ran a 4.5 40-yard dash and posted a 36.5-inch vertical leap at Washington’s pro day.
That's great, he can run and jump really well, and maybe throw a snowball through a brick wall. Can he read a D? Could he throw a second snowball through the same hole as the first one?
