Really?

You still haven't commented on Marvin Harrison Jr.
I haven’t seen the details yet, but I’ll go look. My guess is he isn’t doing anything that out of the ordinary.

What Harrison is doing has certainly been done before. There is no rule about attending the combine or talking to reporters. My comments about Williams have to with the same old stuff where his dad plays bad cop. The talk about upending the rookie salary scale is batshit crazy type stuff that’s not happening. I do think we are getting very close to having a player not like where they are drafted and challenging in court their ability to go back to college. It will be what it will be. A lot of people think that is the reason Harrison didn’t subject himself to questions.

Calling this lame is an understatement

There was absolutely no reason to ever change the onside kick rule in the first place. I know they want to slow guys down by not letting them get a running start but it totally killed the onside kick. If you declare you are doing an onside kick then you have to let them get the running start again. I won’t have as much of an issue with it if they do that because it gives a better chance of success.

And you've made a lot of accusations against both Williams and Riley.
I agree he has and maybe that is his MO here, but I would definitely be somewhat leery of the kid based on personality...........also something I could overlook if I was convinced he had the skill to be an elite QB.

I don’t like this. However, since they’re doing it anyway, the trade off should be that the kicking team gets the old rules of a running start for the guys covering the kicks and they’re allowed to overload a side again.

They won’t bring that back though, because they want to slow the players down to minimize collision potential on kick offs.

I am good with a lot of the player safety rules.

But this one is too much and seemingly unnecessary.

I heard this morning that Marvin Harrison Jr. skipped a scheduled media event at the combine.

I'm sure that @thunderc will be along any minute now to express his outrage and tell us all how he has "malcontent written all over him".

I don't like how he is going about it at all

That’s the reason they did it but you can only build up so much speed in 10 yards.

Big stuff in Philly today:
- Zack Wheeler agrees to an extension with the Phils
- Jason Kelce announced a presser for later today to address retirement rumors. Most think he’s going to announce he’s hanging them up.

If this is even real, pretty stupid of the Raiders.
