Steelers declared QB Mitch Trubisky, CB Darius Rush, S Elijah Riley, LB Blake Martinez, OT Dylan Cook, LB T.J. Watt, and DE DeMarvin Leal inactive for Monday’s Wild Card Round matchup against the Bills.
The absence of Watt is perhaps the biggest loss for either team in today’s contest, but the Steelers enter Monday with most of their starters ready to go. Pittsburgh has leaned heavily on the ground game over the last three weeks and has seen a resurgence in Najee Harris. Harris is expected to have a big role in Monday’s contest against a Bills defense that has proven vulnerable at times against the run.

Bills declared WR Gabe Davis, S Taylor Rapp, LB Tyrel Dodson, CB Rasul Douglas, DE Kingsley Jonathan, OL Alec Anders, and DT Poona Ford inactive for their Wild Card Round matchup against the Steelers.
Davis was ruled out well before Monday’s game. There’s a chance he’ll return for next week’s playoff game if the Bills are able to come out with the win, but for now, the Bills will likely pivot to Khalil Shakir to fill the void left by Davis. Frigid temperatures and a snowstorm resulted in this game being pushed to Monday. While snow shouldn’t play a factor here, the temperatures could affect both offenses. Another key absence for the Bills is Rasul Douglas, who didn’t practice all week.
