To be fair, this game doesn't really mean too much. What it does show is that the Lions can play with the Cowboys and are not out classed. So if they get into the 2nd round and play the Eagles or Cowboys, I'd expect them to have a chance.

Agreed, but man, that can kill momentum taking tough losses like that.. Just a crazy gamble when your team fought so dam hard… He might start losing that locker room gambling like he does ..

I guess it would still be a penalty because he was covered up or whatever that stupid formation rule is.

Lions will not be a threat in the playoffs. Goff in a big game will choke. And Campbell's decision making is as bad as McCarthys. Being aggressive is good but being stupidly aggressive will cost you.

That’s good, but I hope for you guys he doesn’t gamble like this in the playoffs.. You guys have the best team you’ve had in a long time and you’d hate to see a run end by some unnecessary risk …

He's been calling it like that all year. It has cost them a couple games, but it also won them a couple. Plus, those guys are playing their asses off for him, so I don't see that happening this year.
