Jordan Love is terrible. One TD on a simultaneous catch, could have easy been a pick. Another TD on a terrible sidearm throw that deflected to his guy. Lost the game on a terrible deep throw to a guy who wasn't open anyways.

Shitty loss. With Tranquill around the depth should be there to absorb it, fortunately. That looked like an injury that sends him to IR for a good amount of the season.

And Orlando Brown for a couple of seasons which wouldn't be noteworthy except for the Chiefs winning the SB last year with him having a good game against the Eagles

Surtain I am not sure is all-pro but is certainly pro-bowl level. Would be on a shortlist of best CB's. Chase is in the same boat at WR. Waddle, Sewell, and Devonta Smith are all excellent players, but not all pro level. Micah Parsons is probably the only true generational and/or all-pro guy there. Quite a few teams happy with their pick, however. At least in that top 12. The Jets and 49ers fans, maybe not so much...

Lawrence and Pitts are both definitely at or near All Pro level already. Jamar Chase has been quiet lately, but I'd still put him at the very least among the top 6 WRs in the NFL already.

Lions also got Amon-Ra St Brown later too.

Maybe it's not the best draft ever, but no way is it the worst.

At the time it was seen as pretty top heavy. Its one of those things that if it produces 5 or 6 Hall of Famers then the rest will get forgotten. 2013 NFL draft looks similar with Nuk, Kelce, Lane Johnson, Keenan Allen, Bakhtiari, Honey Badger, Leveon Bell and not much else.

Kinda jarring the Chiefs took this long to field a good defense again. Some smoke and mirrors with final PPG totals, but this has been the only good defense they've had of the Mahomes era, imo.
