If I were running the Clippers, I'd be calling up the Knicks offering Kawhi for that 2nd package there (all the players, not just 2 of the 3 +Randle) and an assload of picks. I feel like the Knicks would bite since its Kawhi and they want to win, but for the Clippers you move off of his chronic injury history, get useful pieces (especially the younger players) and recoup picks. Hell, with those players plus Westbrok and Paul George, they might actually be better since they will actually be available to play (unlike Kawhi every year)
I think the Knicks best bet is to tamper again and recruit Dame. Portland can be convinced to let Dame pick his landing spot and that helps the Knicks in the negotiation.

I think this money works:
Portland gets : Randle, Barrett, Hartenstein and picks
Knicks get: Dame

Yet you are always bitching about Spoles....

SMH.
And he had every right. Spo didn’t have a good regular season. You can say that about many of the players for the Heat as well. I think being in the ECF cements two things. 1) This is not your regular old 8 seed you see each year. They’re constructed for playoffs with their pieces and their coach who is a whiz in a 7 game series with adjustments and scheme. 2) They underachieved in the regular season. They should have been a 4-5 seed.

@fightinfunbags latest on Herro......

Many have asked about Tyler Herro.

We have heard he's ahead of schedule in recovery.

Still, I was advised last night after the game that his return should not be expected this series. The Heat originally reported he would miss a minimum of six weeks, though the media reports were 4-6 weeks.

The surgery was April 22.

That's 3 weeks, as of today.

Eastern Conference finals go up to 2 weeks, starting Wednesday.

So the math could bring him back before start of Finals. -- ejs

I am pretty sure i said nothing about spo in the playoffs

Depends.

Does the play in count?

If memory serves, I think you complained about him when they lost the 1st play in game.

Don't remember you complaining about him since then though.

According to the nba, the play-in isn't regular season or playoffs lol so we cant count it

Lol lets also think about it. Heat was never expected to win the series and never trailed that series. Heat won game 1 vs the knicks and had complete control of this series. Where did i have time to complain about spo? He just lying as always

Man, that will make it tough vs Celtics or Sixers. I can’t speak too much about the Celtics where I feel comfortable but fuck if Herro doesn’t kill the Sixers. I also think it may be time for the Heat to flip the Vincent Lowry roles with Lowry being the starter.

I think this money works:

I don't like that fit with Dame and Brunson. Dame needs the ball in his hands a lot and while Brunson can make it work like he did with Luka, Brunson is able to max out his talents when he's not playing with someone so ball dominant. That's partially why I suggested the Clippers (besides the fact that I think they should blow it up). They have two wings in George and Kawhi who either one of them would fit in nicely.
