A cop out eh. I'd define it as a change of opinion. I'll even go as far as saying I was wrong. Though not for the reasons you might think. Given the type of team this present team is, one where nothing comes easy for them. My choice for ex-Redskin QB of the last 20 years to lead this team would be Alex Smith if we're playing the what if game. I've said this before. In some ways Taylor reminds me of Alex. Not so much in terms of play, but more how the team responds to him. You know what though. Even if AS hadn't been injured. He wouldn't have won here either and more than likely would no longer be with the team either.

And while I think you know what I'm saying by winning just to make sure. I'm not talking about winning a division title every 3 or 4 years, becking into the playoffs and getting immediately ass paddled. I mean year in, year out habitually winning n competing for Super Bowl titles.

He wouldn't be the first HC to fall prey to that. And I believe dean is point as well. Had they went QB. They would've went with Tua. I don't recall any disappointed or upset posters when Young was drafted. I don't recall any talking heads or draft analysis supposed experts on tv, the net or in print claiming the Skins made the wrong pick. Nor was anyone really talking up Herbert pre draft. Looking at some of the supposed weaknesses on the scouting reports are laughable. Bad ball placement, scared to let it go, one read route thrower, doesn't lead WRs well, misses high, bad touch. I bet those 26 fumbles in 3 years scared a boatload of teams away though.
