you dont know what could happen in the playoffs. the whole point of the regular season is to get into the playoffs. If you are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention then draft position matters.

dean, as when it happened before , the team got no benefit from backing into the playoffs . and if you cant beat the contenders then you aint going anywhere . the best thing , the real thing is to beat the competition

If the Skins lose to all those teams dad mentioned they won't make the playoffs, but if they somehow did. You know what that would mean? It'll be the 2nd time in a row that they make the playoffs with a losing record and the 2nd time in a row they only beat 1 team in the reg season with a winning record. Each time the Skins have made the playoffs in the Snyder Era not only do they lose that first game. The next year they end with a worse record a worse finish in their division. That's 1 step forward, 2 steps back every damn time. You what that means. That every year the Skins have made the playoffs in the Snyder Era it was counterfeit.

I'm not saying to root against your team. I'm saying stop setting the bar so damn low. It's as if you have no expectation or even hope that the Skins get better. You're perfectly content with the Skins consistently losing to good teams. As long as they beat enough average and below average teams and make the playoffs. Even if its with a losing record. You say anything can happen once you get in the playoffs. So how many teams with a losing regular season record have won Super Bowls? None. Know why? Cuz that shit will never happen.

And if the Skins don't get any better, if they can't beat good teams on a consistent basis in the regular season. They damn sure aren't gonna do it in the playoffs. Sure, maybe they get lucky and catch a team on a given Sunday some day n win a wildcard game. That's as good as its gonna get. If they can't/don't get better and aren't able to play with and compete with good teams week in, week out. No one is down on them , what is being said is you have to beat the contenders to be legit .

You have to show you can beat the contenders . You sold this crap 2 yrs ago and we were sent packing , the other benefit you sold was some kind of boost . That didn’t happen either . We were worse the following year , attendance is still the worst in the NFL
