The going rate right now for falco is between 16-19 mil as the projections I posted indicate . Way too much to spend .wince is 26 mil and we have a projectEd 19 mil In cap
the draft will be huge and we need to hit on 3 starter at least
Logan Thomas needs to be cut as wellI'm not sure I can stomach giving Heinicke 19m. I would need him to win us a playoff game or two before I could entertain that.
I'm not there with Logan. I'd be lying if I said I haven't glanced at his contract on spotrac. We could save a bunch, but he was so good before he got hurt. Maybe next year is when we get that guy back. Knee injuries are like that sometimes.Logan Thomas needs to be cut as well
Not worth the money and we have tightends and there will be a ton more in the draftI'm not there with Logan. I'd be lying if I said I haven't glanced at his contract on spotrac. If I'm sure that Armani is the real deal, maybe. We just have too many needs to go searching for a TE the off-season imo. How he finishes the season will probably sway me one way or the other, but in not there yet.Not worth the money and we have tightends and there will be a ton more in the draft
Look in the Heineke postI either completely missed that post or dont remember it. What’s the source?
That seems like an awful lot to pay TH.
The Commanders should absolutely be signing him to an extension now before the srason ends. I offer what i said I would 3 years, $30m, all guaranteed.
I doubt that $16-$19m is all guaranteed money.
Absolutely no one will give TH any amount of money resembling the above. He is very limited and you don't give away money to limited players let alone limited QB's. TH should receive a back up offer and He, Howell and your QB draft pick (Duggan) can all battle it out next off season.I'm not sure I can stomach giving Heinicke 19m. I'm not a college football nut. Not gonna lie. I have no idea who Duggan is. Is he any better than Howell was coming out of UNC?Absolutely no one will give TH any amount of money resembling the above. TH contract offer: 2 years 15m. Give him the plan of competition with himself, Howell and Duggan. He doesn't accept, move on.
That's why I can't spend this off-season searching for a TE and why I cannot give Heinicke 19m.
I think we have our TEs with bates turner and rodgersThat's why I can't spend this off-season searching for a TE and why I cannot give Heinicke 19m.
Nah, the answer is fine. There are too many variables. Is there a new owner, new HC, new team name (hopefully). Though I'm not sure I'm onboard with a training camp battle that involves an unproven Howell in his 2nd year vs an unproven rookie. What's rest of the plan? Sign a yet to be determined veteran as insurance? Keep Taylor? I know you want Wentz gone so he's not part of the equation. But there's gotta be more than Howell and a rookie.Just depends who's on the roster and how they finish. If we make the playoffs and Heinicke beats someone in the playoffs.....right or wrong, Heinicke probably gets the bag.
If we don't make the playoffs and Heinicke is a big reason why, I could see Howell and a rookie battle in camp for the position.
So many variables. I know that probably didn't answer your question @Breed but that's the best I could do.
