The New Asshole
An underdog winning the conference championship is not always a fluke. The game is more fair at a neutral site. One team can lose early & progress towards being championship quality at the end of season. Conversely, the team with a better record could be regressing, or benefitted from a weak schedule.Does anybody else think this game was unnecessary? Same goes for the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12, and SEC. Everyone had an outright regular season champion. It opens the door for disaster for the team that's already earned a playoff spot. So far, 2 for 2 in the disaster department. LSU (9-3), North Carolina (9-3), and Purdue (8-4)...come on down. You're the next teams to fluke your way to a conference championship.
