The defense has been under-performing as well. They showed signs in the Titans game. Sweat actually came alive, good and bad. Its Oline, coaching, defense, then Wentz. Im only putting Wentz on this list b/c he has to make a better decision on the last play of the game. If it was covered, you throw it away and go to 4th down.

This 1-4 record is not on Wentz. He's like 5th or 6th on the list.
That is correct, but as pointed out several times, when the game is on the line...Wentz falls apart. We now have our own evidence of this. Our own coach just publically threw Wentz under the bus. We all heard what he said.

Turner was supposed to have all these weapons and Wentz was supposed to be the cherry on top. We are currently averaging 18 pts per game. In 2021, under TH, we averaged 19.7 points per game. These are the simple facts. If we would have beaten the Titans, nothing would have changed with the outcome of our season. We would still be last in the NFC East, and Rivera/Wentz would still not be the answer.

Bill Parcells said that good QBs "Get your team in the end zone and win games". Wentz does neither as we are 26th in the league in scoring and are 1-4. We should be 0-5 right now. We are currently the 31st-ranked team in the NFL per Power Rankings. Granted, these are opinion pieces.

I literally have no idea why the Wentz defenders have not given up this argument. It is simply a fact now. The team was literally 1-11 on 3rd down. We keep pointing to this nebulous "OLine" as the excuse for everything. It literally cannot only be the entire OLine's fault for the pathetic offensive output. Turner is responsible and Wentz is also responsible. We are averaging 18 points a game. TH averaged 19.7 points a game in 2021.

Again, Turner allegedly had everything he needed and Wentz was going to light it up per offseason discussions. That was never going to happen.

I find it odd that there is always an excuse with Wentz. When something good happens, it is due to the talent of Wentz. When something bad happens, it is the play calling or OLine.

Did Wentz have a bad OLine in Philly and Indy as well?

I don't think he fell apart. He drove the team to the two yard line with little time on the clock. Give them that one last time out so a run was a threat and maybe it changes things. It is very hard to complete a pass when you have 12 total yards and eight defenders dropping back. Could he have done better? Yes .... but falling back on you "it's Wentz's fault" I cannot 100% agree with.

You see other QBs with little time left do the same. Hell Lamar Jackson just did it two weeks ago. Raiders failed going for two last week and you can find other examples. Did they all fall apart?

RR's comment the other day was stupid on his part.

Let me ask you this, why does he seem to turn the ball over at the worst possible time? I remember that was the knock on him once he was acquired in the trade. This is what Philly and Indy beat writers said.

Isn't that what drove Irsay to have his meltdown after Week 17 last week? After the JAX game.

First I have told you before Irsay is a dick. How are they doing with Ryan?

I did not say Wentz couldn't have made a better play. I refuse to beat the Wentz sucks line to death.

Wentz missed some passes, the running game sucked, how about Norwell? What about those three snaps that rolled back to Wentz, BTW he didn't let one turn into a TO but you did say on the first one he fumbled. Sorry duke, but you have an agenda and you are not objective at all. No one said he is the 2nd coming, but you blame him for most everything on the field.

Part of my point now duke is ... he is already here. I wouldn't have hired RR, I wouldn't have traded for Wentz but I am going to hope for the best this year and see what he does. Heinicke is not the answer and I hate to throw Howell in too early. Study up on Levis. :D

Understood...Rivera and Wentz are already here.

You and I are aligned on RR and Wentz.

I agree, TH is NOT the answer.

I agree, it is too early to throw in Howell and risk getting a David Carr 2.0 (shellshocked)

I responded previously about Levis. We might be thinking about this the wrong way altogether. Regarding Levis as a prospect, I want to see the GA and TN games first to see how he does.

With respect to your agenda comment, yes, I would hope fans have an agenda to support having/building the best team possible. IMO, Rivera represents failure, a butchered roster, poor coaching, nepotism, and no cap.

Wentz represents draft capital, a sputtering offense, and 28 million being used in cap room.

The difference between what you said and my thoughts are that I do NOT hope the best this year for Rivera and Wentz. The sooner they go, the better. Like my relationship analogy, if the relationship is going south quickly and was never a good idea from the start, why continue to delay the inevitable? Not trying to sound like Dear Abby or Dr. Phil here...LOL

Mostly we agree.

Your last statement "why continue the inevitable?" What are the options. We know TH is not the guy, Howell is not ready. I think kbso is all over it, He is hanging in for a couple of more weeks then lets get the 2nd pick. Of course we would both like to see some sort of new regime make the pick although I have my doubts about that. If the season goes completely to shit put TH in before Wentz gets costs a 2nd round pick.

Did you see my post about putting a Go Fund Me page together...LOL

Or, we need to figure out which one of us has the rich Uncle who can make Snyder an offer he can't refuse.

I dont have the data in front of me but I'd be willing to bet that Wentz's win percentage is better than Rivera's.

1. Ron the GM
2. Ron the Coach
3. Norwell/Turner
4. Secondary
5. Turner's play calling
6. Wentz

I'm not a Wentz apologist but I will not sit here and let Rivera pass off this sorry ass outfit he's run for the past two and a half years onto a guy who's been here a month.

Jackson III isn't going to travel with the team to Chicago. Could be something. Could be nothing.
