Better, but not more better enough...
Rough year ahead...
6-11.
The defense is going to be improved, but still suck ass.
IMO....they are a year away from being that competitive.Dan Campbell is a crazy fuck but seems like the team buys into what he's preaching. I could see a 9-8 record and of those 8 loses at least half of them will be close games.
I’m not sure Steve Young could take this team to the Super Bowl. That is what I am hoping for as well but expecting 3 wins.
Agree on the defense but Goff, sorry, not going to take us to a super bowl.
You could be right.IMO....they are a year away from being that competitive.
I have them at 5-12.....they could win 6 games but think they need another year....and then they could be right in the mix.You could be right.
I might have them too high. 6 to 7 is probably more on parI have them at 5-12.....they could win 6 games but think they need another year....and then they could be right in the mix.
No defense has allowed more points through the first four games in NFL history
What’s going on Aaron Glenn?

They will face some weak offenses like the Bears (twice), Panthers, Jets and Jags....not to mention the Pats without Mac ....and bring down PPG allowed.Lions are on pace to shatter the single season record for most points given up in 1 season, this is now easier with 1 extra game per season.
To not break the record for most points Lions defense will have to avg 30 points/game or less over last 13 games.
- Single season record (16 games) is 533 points - 1981 Baltimore Colts (33.3 pts/game)
- Lions on pace (17 games) for 599 points (presently avg 35 pts/game)
- If only look at 16 games, Lions on pace for 564 points still breaking the record.
Some hope for optimism
- do have a lot of game left against teams presently averaging less than 20 points per game: Jets, Pats, Panthers, Bears x2, Packers x2
- Only 2 games very more present more potent scoring offenses: Bills and Jags
Concern:
- gave up 48 to Seattle who was avg 15 points prior to game and 23 points after playing Lions (scored more pts vs Lions than 3 prior games combined)
- Gave up 27 points to Washington who avg 18 points/game

TLDR....Yes... I noted that in my post
No offense against the lions defense is considered weak in my opinion if you ask me.They will face some weak offenses like the Bears (twice), Panthers, Jets and Jags....not to mention the Pats without Mac ....and bring down PPG allowed.
