how confident are you that Juedy just needs a better QB or could it be a mental capacity thing.

Part of me thinks Juedy’s issue are in his brain.

he’s been sitting in the QB room this year to gain more knowledge. let’s see if it sticks

Something none of us can really answer.

But this will be the year we find out.

You were a huge Jeudy advocator during the draft when we all wanted Lamb and Ruggs and now you are his biggest criticizer. Keep that same energy going you had back during the draft process. Have some faith. Give him a chance with the new QB. Only time will tell. We are about to find out. If it goes downhill after the midway season of this year then cut loose on him.

there is no way i can know then or now what is mental capacity is.

if you get more information you can’t change your view ? you’re suppose to die on a hill ? weird

i believe he still is the most gifted WR athletically

as far as Lamb i believe he’s a WR2 and by years end his numbers will reflect that.

Of course you can change your view. People do it all the time. That really isn't the point here. I am just saying we as fans probably need to stay patient before we are so critical of Jeudy and see how things are looking for him early on in this season. There is no reason for him not to succeed this year as long as he stays healthy unlike last season. If he stays healthy, and his QB stays healthy then he is set up to succeed if he fails at that then I think we will all start criticizing him. I get the concern but maybe not beat him down so much and see how this year goes where he is actually unlike his two previous years set up to succeed?

Could be something with his "brain", but we don't know. I don't think there is anything for us to place judgement at this stage though about his "brain" being an issue... I think this year will be a telling year for Jeudy? Does he have it?

I think Lamb is a WR 1 on some teams a WR2 on others.

Good enough to be a WR1 but at the same time on a really good offense a WR2. Nothing wrong with that. He would be one of the better WR2's in the NFL. Anymore I think you basically have WR1 and WR2 very similar on good offensive teams. We are in a WR era right now in the NFL.

This is going to be tough and I am starting to lose sleep over it trying to figure out how it is going to end.

Great problem to have but stressful at the same time.

Imagine if Tim Patrick doesn't get hurt?

I am starting to wonder if we do the unthinkable and keep 7 WR's... You often don't see 6 but that seems like a lock at this point. We have seen some teams keep 7 WR's to start the season because they don't want to lose one on the waiver wire. I think trade value for undrafted/late round young players may just not be worth a trade here either with how these guys have looked.

Sutton
Jeudy
Hamler
M.Washington
B.Johnson
Hinton, Seth Williams, Virgil about two weeks ago felt like a lock and he has done everything he needs to do to lock up a job. Typically, he would have by now but these guys are doing so well it could come down to upside. All three of these guys have good upside. I guess it comes down to practice because they have all played well in games. I feel like with Virgil's size and speed he becomes hard not to keep as well.

Tyrie Clevlenad- We can solve one issue with his roster spot and start him on short term IR to start the season.

I don't know that we can hide any of the guys competing on the PS.

I feel like Dallas is a prime team to claim one of these guys as they all played well against Dallas. I suppose we will have a good idea if we can store one on the PS by fielding any calls. If we plan to cut someone and someone is calling us then we have to take the pick knowing the player isn't likely to come back to our PS...

I just want to know what we are going to do here.

Great issue to have I guess.

I agree we keep 6, Tyrie to short IR, which leaves Hinton, Virgil, and Williams. I say Virgil makes it, and we try to stash the other 2 on PS.

I get brain damage reading this post. Glad I don’t have to decide. Tough call. Maybe another big body? So tough.

I think we need to call the Cowboys up to try and get something for one of the WR's... If we are lucky one will make it back to the PS and even at that if a WR doesn't get claimed he may know how hard it was to make the WR roster room here given how well he played he may even sign with someone else PS over ours. We may have to try and trade one of these guys.

Virgil is going to be very tough to cut. I am almost starting to think we keep him as well. His size/speed while still raw he is really putting it together. Seth Williams is tough to cut. Always been a huge fan of me. Reminds me a lot of Tim Patrick coming out. Big body, really good upside just inconsistent hands. Runs faster then his 40 on the field... Patrick came out with similar tools as Williams. Had drop issues but like Williams was a 1 on 1 nightmare in college. Patrick now has some of the best hands in the NFL....

Then Kendall Hinton still has untapped potential as a WR and is putting it together and has earned his keep. Played QB his first 3 years at Wake (not impressive more of a runner) but one year at WR and has come a long ways as a WR since we signed him. Remember at one point we cut Hinton and didn't even sign him to the PS right away. Did later on in the year when we had some injuries and then as everyone remembers he was on our PS when we needed a QB... I didn't think he was going to make it last year but he had a good camp and looked pretty solid during the season when called upon and has gotten even better this year.

This is going to be tough.

It appears Brandon Johnson is no longer in this talk as he seems to have secured a job.

Then we have Montrell Washington who not only is showing us what we drafted him to be (return man) but is also doing well at WR which is a big bonus.

I also like the fact that Tyrie Cleveland was singled out for special teams play. Something I really raved about when we drafted him was how good of a gunner he was at Florida. Felt like our first two years the coaching staff didn't really use him or give him an opportunity there and this new coaching staff is. Plus 1 for the new coaching staff.

If we keep Cleveland off short term IR i think we may carry 7 WR’s which is rare and it may be Saubert on the chopping block over the young WR’s. Just a hunch when I think about roster spots for special teams.

Love Saubert but just a hunch there with the numbers.

7 wouldn't shock me at this point. We may even trade a guard or depth elsewhere to keep them. Maybe 2 te's and Beck.

Crazy.

What’s the chance we cut Boone and one of the TEs (other positions to be considered?) and use Beck’s flexibility to leverage the roster at other more valuable positions?

Boone is slim another TE is possible, IMO.

Never seen a team keep just two RB’s and Boone is one of our best kickoff cover guys.

Unless we feel our blocking at TE is good enough to let our best blocking TE go (Tomlinson)

It comes down to Saubert vs an extra WR, IMO.
