He did NOT inherit a great team.

However, instead of hiring a GM to help, he took matters into his own hands. He made the decision to cut Haskins and he made the decision to sign Fitz.

He could have drafted out franchise QB in Hebert but went with Young. That was his decision. Yes, he inherited a poor team but he has made poor decisions as well.

First, cutting Haskins was wise at the time. Fitz got hurt in week 1, didnt know what he could of done. Now you are playing MOnday morning QB with Herbert. Even if they did go the QB route it would of been Tua. Herbet was not even considered, you are bringing him up b/c of his success in LA. Young was the better player and i have no problem with selecting him. Plus you had a former 1st round pick in Haskins on your team that never really played and the jury was still out on him. Drafting Young was not a poor decision at the time. Classic that your bring that up.

But we made the playoffs in 2020 and the attendance still dropped to the worst in the NFL. Other teams had injuries and dealt with COVID.

That always has happened with the other teams. Plus it doesnt help that the Ravens are like 30mins away. There are still fans like you and myself that follow the team who live in other states all over the country. There is still a fanbase.

I dont think he had anything to do with the name change. He was basically just a puppet in that role. On field decisions are average but he doenst call the plays on offense or defenses. He did inherit a mess, I'm glad that you understand that.

We have had terrible seasons before, but to the best of my knowledge, we never were dead last until 2021.

Dan was the tipping point.

You keep trying to keep the fanbase alive but its dying and you know it. I think you have convinced yourself that if we put together a winning season, this all goes away. You believe Rivera and Wentz can help straighten out the organization. Nothing could be further from the truth.
