The Warriors will eventually have some hard decisions to make. Klay is not a 40 million dollar player. And with their salary situation he becomes like a 80 million dollar player.

Seems like Lacob is willing to pay whatever. He'll keep Steph, Klay, and Dray together whether the latter two perform like stars or not.

Hopefully, Draymond bounces back. This Finals is huge for his legacy. He probably makes it to the Hall of Fame, but he shouldn't be seen as a lock, IMO. If he has a good Finals and the Warriors win, his reputation soars and he'll deserve a spot in the top 75 list that he missed out on just recently. And proving the words that he said to Durant that they can win without him would drive the Draymond to the moon.
Who would you kick out of the top 75? Not including the plumbers and firemen.

JJ Reddick is the best lol

In 2 years then they have decisions to make on Dray and Klay. Not until then

The dubs simply were not efficient tonight....especially on both ends in the 4th.
I'm sure it will be addressed and mitigated by Sunday.
Hope so. Wish I were sure.

The shooting didn't help, but I actually think they lost the game in the 4th because they got stuck out there too long with a line up that had Iggy and Otto Porter. Boston probably would have won anyway considering the literally made damn near everything they threw up, but they made the bulk of their run with those two out there. The team defense was a mess, lots of guys chasing (Iggy is just too old), but there were no stoppages so they couldn't get Wiggins and Looney back in the game. Then when they did get back in, I think Green had to come out for a quick breather. By the time they got their full starters back out there, Boston had sealed it. If he's ready, GP2 needs to play next game and take up all of Iggy's minutes
Yeah I think Iggy is finally washed. Hope the team sees it too

NBA games can turn on a dime, and often do.
Gotta make shots...defend as best you can...and protect the ball.
We've seen the Dubs do it numerous times to other teams in the past.
I trust Game 2 will be an entirely different animal.
Every game is a new story

I think this is especially true in this series because there is a week between each game.
So a game 7 in mid July?

I thought klay would play like a man...my mistake
Poole-Thompson 2-man lineup had a 171.4 defensive rating in 15 mins in Game 1.

and i had posters laughing at me when i said klays defense has declined hahahaha celtics were laughing tonight. That's what happens after major surgeries, your defense declines but you can still keep your offense if you have shot.

he has like a 13% usage in this playoffs hahahha he's like 2005 Robert Horry he can have a huge game once a series but that's it, chill with the overhype. 3 and d guy at this point in his career. Jayson is the superstar and Brown is the star, while smart can be a borderline star.

Everybody else are just elite role players (although white is a 6th man of the year impact since being acquired and has the best synergy with tatum on the team)

Horford on Tatum "he is special. That's who we follow"

I warned ya. Even struggling with his shot, he had a career high 13 assists. Pretty sure that's the most assists ever for a player in his first finals game

Pleasant surprise this AM to wake up to news of a C's victory.

A line-up with Horford at the 5 is so potentially devastating... Boston can still defend at an extremely high level with their personnel and on offense they can space the floor with 5 shooters and get open shots at will.

The problem is hitting those open shots and not shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers... but these weren't a problem last night.

One game. Still a long way to go.

Kerr’s lineups to start the 4th quarter have been pretty bad lately.

I just didn't get sitting looney,Wiggins and Curry all at once in an nba finals 4th quarter.

Lol. Man those late starts are a bitch for east coasters.

I take a nap from like 630 to 830 just so I can make it through
