All 5 starters in double figures....
Last night we saw the best Harden we can get. Not 2017 Harden by any means but he was 75% of that. Prior to this he’s been 25-50% of that guy. If they get 75% version of one of the best scorers in the history of the game with 15 assists to boot the Sixers can make some noise.

He was efficient. 7 of 12 from the field and 6 of on FT's. 15 assists and 6 rebounds isn't too shabby.

Most importantly? He played, unlike their former player.

Maxey looked really good.

And Harris had a nice game too. 19 points and 11 rebounds.

That’s a flagrant 1 on Siakam. I know this because Embiid has taken 7 or 8 of those this season.

Like the people who cheered for KD being injured the Raptors fans are now cheering as they watch Embiid take an elbow to the face.
Toronto is a classless place.

Heard on the radio today that Harden already has more 15 assist games as a Sixer than Ben Simmons had his whole time in Philly.

It’s too much to put on a 21 year old but Maxey is the key piece they need if they want to make a legit run. He has played well vs the Heat this year but playoffs are a different animal. Sixers need to play with the pace they showed in games 1,2,6. That gives them the best chance to win. In a lower scoring slower paced contest the Sixers inability to get stops gets larger.

Interesting.

It wouldn't be the worst thing at his age if Harden was #3 behind Embiid at #1 and Maxey the #2. Or if he and Maxey switched as the #2.

It needs to be organic. They shouldn’t worry about who is 1,2,3 etc… just go take what the defense gives you and the other guys do their part around the man with the matchup.

Embid didnt camp out at the 3 pt line like in the losses and the OT win, the formula for beating this team was always taking the ball to the rack, dumping it into Embid and kicking it out to an open shooter when the defense colapses on Embid, not sure why they got away from that after the 2 first games. Their spacing was terrible in the losses.

They have a tendency to come out some nights like they’ve been anointed and have already done something. The issue in Games 4 and 5 was not matching energy and intensity needed in the playoffs. Same thing for first half of Game 3 as well. That’s on everybody including Doc.

The lack of energy leads to everyone standing around the perimeter like a pentagon.

My son had that same thumb injury from football, it hurts like a motherfucker when it first happens then you kind of get acclimated to it. Caused him to get an A- rather than an A in American Sign Language LOL

I really dont like complaining about officiating, but If Siakam was officiated correctly he would have the same stat line as me and foul out in the 2nd quarter.

Everything he does when he works the lane finishes with a push off. It’s disgusting that he doesn’t even get called for one in the series and yet this is an offensive foul.

To be fair, he does appear to throw his left elbow and forearm out against a defender who appeared to be trying to avoid contact, he didn't connect though. But I could see where the ref would think he did.

This is why the NBA needs to change the challenge rules. Having no more challenges, even after a sucessful one is crazy, imo. That call could have ended up being a problem for the Sixers if Harden ended up in foul trouble later in the game.

Obviously they can't be stopping the game a bunch of times to challenge calls, but they should have more than 1 challenge.
