How did they ask for this? I think it is fair to blame them for setting an unrealistic price for Simmons, but other than that, I fail to see how this is something they asked for.

Also, I fail to see how Simmons thinks this is going to help him. He is not James Harden and this will not be forgiven by other teams. His value is going to fall further now.

This is also going to put the players association in a very tough spot. Simmons is not the hill they want to die on.

I don't think Simmons cares what his value is, tanking it further does not impact him but hurts the 76ers. I think his goal in reporting was to expedite his exit, and I think he is doing that quite well.

I don't think Simmons cares what his value is, tanking it further does not impact him but hurts the 76ers. I think his goal in reporting was to expedite his exit, and I think he is doing that quite well.
His only goal in reporting is to lay claim to his money. That’s it.
