Lookin forward to seeing this
My understanding is that it will be done Pre opening so doubt anyone will see much. Another slap in the face for the fan base who aren’t there and didn’t have time to make arrangements to be there

I dont have a problem with 21 being retired. I love it. That said 81, 28, and 44 have to become official. Never saw 42 play, but that needs to be put up as well.
This not going to be a popular post but why wasn't anyone upset it took 50+ years and death for Bobby Mitchell to get his number retired. What about Charley Taylor, Sonny Jurgensen, Chris Hanburger, John Riggins, Russ Grimm, Darrell Green, Art Monk, Dexter Manley .... no offense to Taylor but why should he be before any of those guys?

I understand people being upset that Dan is using his legacy to foster good will and good for folks being pissed at Dan's latest dumbass move but just like that everyone forgot about 650,000 emails .....

Luckily, still a lot of push out there from many....but our fans are distraught and consumed by this no doubt.

Special circumstances so I’m ok with it. But you are absolutely right, if we are going to start retiring No.s, this must be addressed.

Good grief. Only 10,000 commemorative towels were made to be handed out.

Seriously. Not even a towel for everyone who entered our less than half full stadium.

Perhaps ONLY 10,000 are going to be there in support of this team, while the other 20 to 30 thou will be K.C. supporters!
