I think it's even more than that, depending on container size, etc..

The delays are getting worse, not better.

And this link is an eyeopener. Boats currently on the water
Oh, totally it is more than that. It is amazing how often this is overlooked and truthfully nothing more than price gouging.

As for the supply chain as a whole, it is mess. That's why companies like Costco are purchasing their own containers now to they can store their own stuff, at ports, until the proper multimodal shipping is available. The delays with trucking the items away from ports is almost at a crisis point.

I just talked to someone I know in purchasing 40 ft container was $1650 and now is $17000.
Just from the skyrocketing prices in containers look what it has done for the profits of the shipping companies from the article I posted:
That’s delivered extraordinary profits for shipping lines. In its August earnings statement, Copenhagen-based Maersk, the world’s largest container line, announced a net profit of $3.7 billion in the second quarter of 2021, an eightfold increase from the same period last year, citing “exceptional circumstances in Ocean.” For Hapag-Lloyd, revenues increased by 51% in the first half of 2021, with profits of $3.3 billion. CMA CGM, likewise posted record profits of $3.5 billion, a 2,500 percent increase from the same period last year.

The graph in this article shows the change:

I ask again, what is the punishment for treason?

Life imprisonment seems to be the go-to, but you can pay the ultimate price.

Only one person has ever been executed for treason against the federal government: William Bruce Mumford, who was convicted of treason and hanged in 1862 for tearing down a United States flag during the American Civil War.

Don’t let Trump know, he will want a statue built of this clown.

the global supply chain truly is a mess. Human psychological behavio(u)r is also at play. People are hoarding everything now and a lot of commercial products are scarce also because of a similar buying patterns that happened with toilet paper early on in covid.

Everyone hears the product is scarce. Everyone tries to buy that product YESTERDAY. Manufacturers cant produce the product because of the extraordinary surge in demand combined with labo(u)r issues that have come up thanks to covid (people leaving the workforce or ill).

every fuckin product seems to be getting into this cycle ... even fuckin boba tea lol

Don't tell @puckhead this, but this exact thing happened with Hebrew National Hot Dogs here recently.
