we all know that there will be injuries this season... there will also be bad and good surprises... But which players can you get late actually have RB1 or WR1 potential?? some could be cuffs... but some cuffs are being drafted early(like Trey Sermon) so he will not be on this list...

here is my short list(no order)

1. Mecole Hardman- i dont think he will be anything this season with Tyreek Hill healthy... as they are too similar... and it is more useful to have other skills besides JUST speed on the field... But if Hill does go down, Hardman will likely be used similarly to Hill... Maybe not as much as Hill, but he should be an easy start in a 2 WR league... easier in a normal 3 WR league...

2. Michael Gallup- right now he is the clear 3 in the pecking order.. But the cowboys are one of the highest volume offenses, and they are also the clearest on their cuffs... Gallup has some value now... but if either Lamb or Cooper go down for however long, Gallup should easily be peppered with targets... Remember, that cowboy defense sucks, and they face the giants and eagles twice...

3. Tony Pollard- another cowboy... not surprising... they are just one of the best offenses in football... and there is really nothing else behind Zeke

4. Alexander Mattison- he is just an obvious cuff... on a run first team...

5. Nico Collins- this is a strange one... right?? he shouldnt be on this list... but he is for me... why?? Houston is just that bad... and Collins could easily be their best FULL SIZED wide receiver...

6. Chubba Hubbard- last year Mike Davis showed he was fantasy relevant when CMAC went down... the question here is was CMAC's injury last year one of those that will linger for the rest of his career and will he miss games?? well if he does, this team is centered around the running game... so Hubbard can be THAT guy...

7. Jalen Reagor- Surprise one here... but kind of similar to Nico Collins that the team may be very bad, and need to throw... and they have no proven WRs... if Smith either gets hurt or doesnt reach his expectation, Reagor can easily be that guy..

i think that is my top 7...

note- i left off the likes of Terrace Marshall and others on purpose, as their ceilings are capped IMO...

Michael pittman is available late. Was just gonna post a sleeper thread

Is pittman a sleeper though?? he is the teams WR1, just like Brandin cooks... and why they were both not on my list...

i feel like if Wentz was healthy to start the season, Pittman would be taken earlier...

he was omitted on my list because he is not a late rounder... you are getting him in the mid rounds...
Gallup probably shouldn't be on your list as well then...Gallup's draft rank is 101. Shenault's is 99

fair point... i knew gallup was higher... put him on still just because i can easily see him being a top 10 WR receiver... shenault, not so much...

but that is also built into why he is so high... i guess, i broke my own rule for this thread... but i still see Gallup as a cuff this season...

I will admit I am extremely high on Shenault, especially if TL has a great rookie year.

Bold prediction: I think Shenault will get 1,100-1200 yards, basically doubling his rookie year. Agree on Gallup, he is a top handcuff for obvious reasons

I know this was for Rbs and Wrs..

But I am a big believer that either Lance Or Fields possibly even both r going to be huge down the stretch for fantasy..

Sony Michel- he could already be the best RB on the roster. How long until he gets 50/50 splits or even a majority of the carries?

Mike Williams- I think we have been waiting for a breakout for years now. Allen is clear cut number 1, but it wouldn't shock me to see Williams have an uptick in targets and if Allen ever gets banged up and misses time.. this could finally be Williams breakout year

DJ Chark- very popular bust pick. But also could surprise alot of people as a valuable target for Trevor.. Etienne injury opens the door for more WR targets

Do you view Henderson as the better talent?

To me Henderson is more of a change of pace/3rd down back.. when Sony is the better early down back

Henderson 5'8" 207lbs

Sony 5'11" 216 lbs

Michel is a good one... the only reason i didnt include him is because he is not a receiver... But that team is a great reason for him to be LEAGUE WINNER

Yes i do actually. I think Henderson actually is fairly talented. And size wise henderson has the more solid frame

I think Phillip Lindsay could get the most touches of the Houston RBs.

I do too, but ingram has coach connections.

i still think david johnson is the back to own.. that team is just so bad... and he is the best receiver of the three...
