Interesting article.
If everyone is waiting until late to start making significant trades then I guess Gibson gets one more start. We really, really, really need him to have a very good outing. The prescription calls for 7 shutout innings with 5 hits, 1 walk, and 9 strikeouts.

Probably comes a little cheaper than Gallo.

not an ideal situation tho. Wouldn’t his last start be in Houston? The Astros have every incentive to blow Gibson up, possibly even try to injure him. They would do anything to keep us down. I wouldn’t start him. I’d just pit him in bubble wrap until the deadline.
Maybe Minny is ready to unloadso far fans on both sides seem happy
Thinking that makes Odor available
Maybe we can pay part of his salary? Hmmmm???come home to where you belong, Roogie
So Cruz a one year rental but IMO an elite playoff player. Did they give up too much?
With a workable contract in place I like Gallobettter. For a one year rental that will likely produce more in the playoffs. I like Cruz better
