After going 8-0 in the bubble and landing a future HOFer in a trade yesterday, if they could somehow steal Jerami Grant from the Nuggets it will bear watching. Like, the sky is the limit worth watching...

Since TJ Warren is was a god in the bubble we should probably base everything on that 8 game span.

Ole TJ is going to average 35 5 and 5 and the Suns are going to win 72

Could be a lot more L's and just 1, depending on how many times they have to play the Nuggets and Pacers
Clearly you were still butthurt over my Wiggins/GS comment at the time of this post. This board in general was bound to be butthurt had I given praise to anyone other than the Heat/Lakers/Warriors as it was...

My condolences on Klay.

While no one could have predicted an injury of this magnitude, some like myself could have easily predicted that Steph, Klay, and Draymond were going to become increasingly injury-prone now that they’re all on the wrong side of 30.

And now they’re going to rely on Wiggins more than they would have liked, which is a problem...

Utah and Phoenix remain my top sleepers in the west.

Sleepers to do what exactly?

Utah IMO is not a sleeper. They been a good team for the last 3-4 years now.
Utah to me kind of feels like they’re in that Memphis Grizzlies type purgatory in the playoffs. Always a solid team but just something is missing.

Yeah they need another star to play with Mitchell before they get close to making/winning the NBA finals. Until then the 2nd round is the ceiling

Butthurt? How? I thought it was comical.

Wear and tear happen but those are typically the nagging injuries that longer. This was a freak incident as almost all Achilles tears are.

Warriors will definitely have to rely on Wiggins more than they would like. Oubre should help though with the scoring load so hopefully Wiggins doesn’t go full Wiggins.

You're welcome.

Not really, because you drastically undersold Phoenix as being like last year's OKC team WITH Grant. No Grant, much better with old man CP3.

Mostly young team has avoided injuries, another benefit of no long playoff run last season. The injuries for the playoff teams likely have at least something to do with the truncated offseason. The league rushed a bit too much to get games scheduled for Christmas IMO.

Highly doubt it now. And on top of that who knows if he even will want to stay. Immediately after the trade deadline Oubre said that he isn't a bench player and he's a starter. He knows what is going to happen once Klay comes back. If the Warriors don't move Wiggins (and I really don't expect them to for a bunch of reasons), Oubre is going to have to come off the bench and I doubt he wants that at this junction in his career.

That's not to mention all the other factors that come into play like him not being an ideal fit for this team and I don't see why the Warriors would invest 20M a year for this guy when they're already heavily over the cap. He's likely gone.

Yeah, I appreciated the effort to keep that tradition and enjoyed the games...but I think they'd have been better served starting later. Fans would have understood.

Agreed. Oubre is a sign/trade candidate this summer (and Wiggins could potentially be moved in the right deal as well IMO).

They may not have landed Grant, but they did land Crowder after the time I made this thread, however.
