I hate Versus

So I see the Flyers and Pens play tonight and figure for sure it is on Versus. I get tired of watching all of the Pens games that are always on Versus but tonight I am happy cause that is always a good game to see....Instead some show called Quest is on. WTF??

Versus rarely if ever shows games on Thursday nights. Usually during the playoffs only.

Lol, I just checked VS too and nothing is on. Not even on the NHL Network. Kinda sucks.

Wow that is pretty stupid. I am sure you could always watch a stream, but still a major fail by the NHL

This is one of the main reasons the NHL will always be 4th in major sports. This is a giant game between two great rivals and should be embraced by the NHL to be seen throughout the country but they choose a dumper network that will be showing some lame show instead.

Still better than NFL scheduling. Some pretty craptacular Sunday nighters and Monday nighters.

All Monday nighters, more than half of them blowouts, and the close games were due to crappy play on both sides, ie Jags@Balt.

I watched more of "The Next Iron Chef" on Mondays than I did NFL.

LOL, I'd have to agree with that. I love football, but some of these Sunday & Monday Night match-ups leave you scratchin' your head. :confused2:

This year was TERRIBLE for the NFL on the national stage. Of course, a lot of that has to do with Indy losing Manning and KC sucking this year. But the fact that they can't flex it hurts too...obviously you can't just change MNF games for teams, but there were some terrible ones.

I'm glad they got a flex set up for the Sunday nighter, though. People may not like Dallas nor the NYG, but, a game for the divisional title in week 17 should be primetime viewing.

I'm fine with it. Both teams are on national TV too much. Besides if all the big games was always on national TV there would be no reason to get the Center Ice package

i have directv and center ice. for whetever reason the flyers feed is blacked out and i'm forced to listen to the 2 worst commentators in sports on the pens feed

Thanks, I will think what I want, that an average NHL fan would know Versus shows games on Monday and Tuesday nights and would not expect a game on Thursday to be on the network. Anyone expecting a Thursday night game is not well versed on the the TV contracts the NHL has.

There are great rivalry games on all the time, no matter what network the games are on some will be missed.
