Kumar Rocker goes 7 shutout innings tonight. 8 strikeouts, 2 hits and 1 walk. No report yet, on if his velocity was back up to normal or not.

Rocker did hit 96 on the radar gun tonight. That is good news for us. He seems to have put those velocity issues behind him.

The guys seem to be hitting a lot of opposite field HRs this year, Solak with another last night. To me this is encouraging cause it means they're hitting it where it's pitched instead of trying to do something else with it...
