Also, I'm excited to see what Norv Turner does with the offense.
Welcome in.

Yeah, it was time for Shula to go. This is going to be interesting with Norv. Hopefully, getting more speed out there at wideout is going to give us some more options.

Cam Newton was targeted and now he's fired up!

The defense just looked terrible, the Falcons ran the ball right down the Panther's throats. Usually between the defensive linemen Poor and Porous. But we knew this game would be an up hill battle. Missing three OL and Davis at LB was just too much to overcome.

yeah, the front seven was bad today. their play was arguably was the biggest difference between a win and a loss today

Has anyone seen a difference in the Offense? I haven't, but maybe they just haven't had enough time to show the change off. When Carolina first hired Norv Turner, I was immediately not a fan of the move. Don't think Norv would use Cam very well or know how to use him. Only been four games though, maybe more time is needed.

I liked what Moore and Samuel showed last week. But that's personnel. But not much difference in the play-calling except it seems a little more simplistic.

No surprise. has only played a handful of games the last two years. It's a shame though he was disruptive up the middle when healthy. When he was on we did not need to blitz much.
Yeah, it's another case of "guy finally gets paid, diminishing returns". Played in 19 games in 3 years.
Saving some salary cap with him, Trey Boston, Palardy and Wheatherly. Now about $29mm under the cap.
Apparently, the team is in the position of having to choose between re-signing Samuel or Moton, which sucks. CS had a breakout year, he's going to get paid in Charlotte or somewhere else. All teams want those speedy wideouts now.

For sure - they might be able to sign both but not if the market is to high for Samuel. On the other hand, Samuel's value goes down a bit with a healthy McCaffrey, so if it's between him and Moton - I'll take Moton.

I keep seeing mocks where we take Justin Fields or Trey Lance @ #8, and don't like the idea of either. Lance looks like Carson Wentz II to me - guy from Division II who ran up big numbers playing against high school like defenses. Would prefer to take Jones from Bama, apparently Rhule was scouting this guy at the Senior Bowl.

Totally Agree John. It's looking more and more like Teddy will be gone before the season starts. I'm OK starting a rookie but I would feel much better about Jones of Fields
