Not be a Packer or Bucs fan, here is my take on the pass interference call. It was at least holding if PI. However, it seemed to be a reverse of the "let them play" concept late in a game (basketball or football). The problem is the inconsistency of PI calls. It seems hard for players to know what will be called and what will not. during the course of the game. Not dissimilar to how in baseball the strike zone grows when a veteran pitcher faces a rookie batter.
While that call would be held up by review, it seems strange that "12 men on the field" can be reviewed but "face mask" , 'pass interference or lack of pass interference", "roughing the passer"," roughing the punter" cannot. How about "the second man is always the one caught". Often that is a result of a retaliation and yet the instigator is not punished.
While I am on my rant, when there is a review of a questionable fumble or turnover the announcers will usually say the the refs got it right. But they ignore that the fumble was a result of a penalty not called (face mask and off sides are examples). In those cases the refs did not get it right and the penalties cannot be reviewed, but lets get that guy who is exiting the field but still has one foot in bounds, that really affects the play or the outcome don't you think.
