Cant have it either way,. Routing for the team to lose for draft position or routing for the team to win and support the Qb change,. RR wants this team to win. Most fans what this team to win. Routing for draft position in October in a winnable division is not being a fan.
I can have it any fucking way I want too and you aren’t the arbitrator of what fandom is . Saying what you think is best doesn’t mean you don’t want the team to win . I rooted for the team to win every week goddamit ! I have always been on record saying we should win as many games as possible so stop motherfucking distorting my positions !

How are you rooting for the team every week when you new haskins wasn't right for the job and you wanted to stick with him at all costs? How are you rooting for the team every week when you bashed RR for making a QB change that would of helped the team b/c there was a serious mental and physical problems with Haskins? How are you rooting for the team to win every week when you constantly mentioned draft pick position over the team winning the division when we had a great shot at it(key injuries to big time players from division rivals aka Dak.)?

You wanted to crash and burn with Haskins then think about QB in 21. You wanted no part of Allen and Smith. dont even deny it dude. You can disagree with a decision like I did when RR went for 2 in the Giants game. That's fine, but to blow a season b/c you think Haskins needed more time and rooting for draft position in October is just being a bad fan. RR knew we had a special defense and did everything possible to try to make the offense better and not blow games.

Bottom line is every fan should want to see his or her team win no matter who the players are and what their record is.

who i want to see play has no bearing on whether i want them to win or not . talking about draft position has no bearing on that either

its just a stupid leap you are making

i wanted to see DHC sink or swim like RR said he was . he changed his mind but you went on about allen being the greatest thing since sliced bread and that is where i had issues

i mentioned draft position as in terms of what would be best for the team go one and done or get a better pick in every round . those are facts and discussion points .

you yourself have talked about that in other years yet you want to call my fandom into question?

there is a huge difference in saying what you think the team should do long term then rooting against victory . again concepts you can understand or conflate

but you will never ever find a post where i come out and say i hope we lose . you wont ever find it . you will find that i said i think we will lose but never ever hope that we lose

and being wrong about DHC doesnt mean i hope for losses either . another stupid analysis made by you

He had lost two games in SF prior to injury. He was 6-2.

CK was 5-2-1.

There is nothing in AS’ history to suggest he would have won a playoff game, let alone go to the SB.

We would never know. He scored two touchdowns in 4 minutes against New Orleans in the playoffs to win it in the last seconds. Once you can do it, there’s no way to know whether it could be done again. I’m not saying winning three or four straight playoff games would happen, but stating “nothing in AS’ history to suggest he would have won a playoff game” is exaggerating. One can say he wasn’t or isn’t good enough, but the higher the claim (“nothing” “1 game”) the less certainty can be stated.

I also feel other parts of the team like defense, coaching, lucky bounces make it impossible to say that it could never happen.

Smith didn’t play lights out, but two muffed punts in the 4th and OT gave New York 10 points. (Well, 6 at least by the muffs (2 FGs) and 4 by the D (TD instead of FG)). They would have likely lost in the SB, but again, who knows. Maybe TB loses like he did to Manning. Again, coaching and defense is important.

Of course you can have your own opinion about the team. Being against the change and Rooting for a draft pick in October makes me think you wanted the team to lose. You never said it but you dont have to say it. Its obvious. RR knew he had nothing with DH. Allen did a better job moving the offense than DH. It gave us a better cahnce to win games and win the division. You were against the change and continued to talk about draft position when the division title is on the line. Thats awful!!

Yes I have talked about draft position in the past but we were magmatically eliminated from the playoffs when I talked about it. just like last year against the Giants the loser was going to get C. Young. So of course in that case you route for the draft position. Not this year!! Not with all the injuries in the division!!

And that Tight End played for Washington, too, I believe. And the QB now has a Tight calf. :(

In what way am I wrong about SF?I showed you it took seven years for him to get a winning season. They were 6-2 with AS. They were 5-2-1 with CK. There is nothing in AS‘ history to suggest he would win a playoff game.
You didn't but somehow you think you did. Smith was drafted by the worst organization in all of professional sports. He struggled because the team was horrendous. Once they surrounded him with decent players he took them to two NFC Championship games that were losses because of fumbled punts and other nonsense. he got hurt and Kaepernick came in and Smith never got a chance.
Kaepernick was a one-trick pony who was easily figured out and is now out of the league.
Nothing to suggest he's win a playoff game? Talk to Drew Brees and the Saints and twll me what they say. One of the greatest games by any SF QB this century.

I showed you the 49ers record of drafting him in 2005, the record in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and finally 2012. That was seven seasons without a winning record. I absolutely showed you this in a statement.

How was the team horrendous? They were top ten in rushing and defense on several of those seasons.

AS did not lead them to the conference championship Twice. He did so in 2011...it was CK in 2012. In 2011, AS led the 9ers to 17 points in that 2011 championship game.

Please don’t think I am defending CK...I can’t stand him as a man or a player.

Again, there is nothing about AS‘ history to suggest he would win a playoff game in 2012. You are obviously a delusional AS fan. When they lost in 2011, As was 12/26 for 196. He was ass as his QBR was 26.9. As for greatest SF games this century, without much looking, CK threw for 263 and 2 TDS while rushing for 181 yards and 2 scores against GB.

Feel free to bring a singular fact.

So you are a mind reader now ? Taking about draft position with anything on the line means nothing , every game thread we have shows me actively rooting for our success in the game .

That’s the difference dean I never rooted for us to lose , ever

You only showed what a stooge you are. 2011 showed that he could win a playoff game in 2012 dummy. All 49er fans know that Smith was drafted by the worst organization in all of professional sports with the worst group of head coaches in history. Once they got him a professional coaching staff he was excellent. Give it up Cletus you are making a fool of yourself.

Wow. How stupid are you? Can you not tell the difference between could and would?

I said nothing in his history said he would win a playoff game. I made this statement after MWAB stated in post 91 that he always says SF wins that SB with AS.

I only look like a fool to a tool with no understanding of the English language. I have posted nothing but facts, while you have come across as a complete AS homer with delusional dreams of rubbing Alex’s leg.

This exactly. Put in the rookie for a few series and see what he can do.
Hell, put him in and have him execute a flea flicker!
House money.

Yep, house money. And you want someone capable of it physically. But just don’t base someone playing under house money circumstances, things change when they get the job. There’s more risk and less house money when it becomes yours. So hope to see good things, but expectations are along the lines of anyone else who played with house money. If he comes in and screws things up, can’t base what we know about him under that either.

HAVE to stop the run. We know we can get to Brady. If we stop the run his play action will have no effect. Put him in 3rd and longs.

Ronald Jones, remember that name!
Two years ago I wanted Washington to draft this guy because what I saw in him was a much better version of what we now have in Gibson. This guy is a duo threat who only missed out on surpassing 1000 yards rushing because of two games missed due to Covid and a third because of a wrist injury. Tampa used Jones as a pass catcher as well, and like Gibson, he's extremely dangerous receiving in space and will, also like Gibson gobble up yards in a blink.

I'm with you man, they have to own the LOS and put pressure on Mr. Brady. That's an extremely tall order to fill.

Stymietee wanted the Skins to keep Griffin on the bench his rookie year. I'm guessin everybody would've said fuck that including me. How you think that would've worked out? We'll never know, but I'm guessin not a whole lot different than it did.
Let me ask you something. Would you allow someone to drive any automobile when there weren't prepared to handle such dangerous machinery?
I suspect not and that's the point. This organization actually drafted guys who they WANTED to be what they were not at the time that they were selected.
We can debate whether or not the outcomes would have been different had either RGIII or Haskins sat. What's not debatable is the organization's failure to give them both their best opportunity to succeed. I'm aware of the in the moment dynamics, but that too points to who was in charge and who should have been. Washington has not been a good place to groom players, sadly, there's still no evidence that anything about that has changed.
