if lance is a project , then he shouldnt be an early 1st rounder either . i dont get what is so hard about the concept being the 4th qb off the board means what ? you could get 3 1st round guys gone and the rest there after

in my opinion there are 3 sure fire early 1st rounders . lawrence , fields , wilson . of those 3 i have the most reservations about fields .

lance is a project and for my money i prefer ridder more (and he is a 5th rounder )

trask jones and newman should be 2nd to 3rd round guys

so i remember the the sherff draft and that didnt work out to well for the prognosticators . if you base your draft on how he does vs ND and the clemson /OSU winner and dont look at the whole picture then he will bust

i say he is a potential KC 3rd round grade

When a college quarterback is surrounded by a roster of NFL talent, it obviously helps him look his best. Whether those teammates mask flaws in technique and decision-making is the biggest question scouts need to assess.. this is why , right now i have jones as a 2nd to 3rd round grade because 1) i havent really looked at him hard 2) i have questions about arm strength ., is he a college system qb ?

I am saying that when evaluating a college quarterback’s professional potential, it is wise to consider the talent that surrounded him in college, and then try to evaluate whether the quarterback was a driver of his team’s success, or merely a passenger, who rode on a crest of elite talent to a lofty, and potentially undeserved, draft position.



and these questions should have been answered for RG3 and DHC and in both cases based on their PRO film the answer is no

yep because of the amount of pro players he has on his team its hard to say if he is the driving force of the team or along for the ride . you will need to see more of him in a sr bowl type environment
