They played 2 out of the 3 best teams in their conference 3x....Not sure what more you want from a scheduling standpoint this year when teams were only playing teams in their conference

Look man. I don’t know what to tell you. ACC football sucks outside of Clemson.

Unless ND joins or Miami comes back, it will be Clemson’s league to dominate every year.

And I say this as a Virginia fan. Other ACC teams just aren’t close to that level.

Clemson was still better. Even the watered down version. That is why they were favored.

But ND win the turnover battle and even had a defensive TD I think. And still barely won.

Give ND credit. But there is no way in hell they are the 4th best team in the country.

THEN WHO IS

I answered you already.

Texas AM is better. SEC is WAY stronger than the ACC.

And if you don’t want to give them a shot, then Cincinnati.

The ACC does not deserve to get 2 teams in. That is insane. Because Notre Dame scored 1 flukey win and played a nothing schedule? No way.

And UNC is not that good. Calling them borderline top 10 is crazy. Based on what?

Played 2 ranked teams all year and a bunch of garbage beyond.

A&M played 2 ranked teams all year.... Their wins aren't better than ND

Vandy (0-9)
UF (8-2)
Miss State (3-7)
Arkansas (3-7)
South Carolina (2-8)
LSU (5-5)
Auburn (6-4)
Tennessee (3-6)

Also, SEC isn't that good this year. You're just making up shit. Bama, UF, and UGA are the good teams excluding A&M. The other 10 teams are mediocre or trash

SEC is slightly better than ACC. Really not much of a difference.

1 great team, a few good teams then a shitload of mediocre/bad teams

Ohio State is definitely one of the 4 best teams in the country.

i can listen to debates about everything surrounding that.

but if you are asking me who are 3 teams that have the best chance of beating Alabama?

Ohio State is definitely one of them.

LOL.

I am an ACC fan. ACC beyond the top teams is not good. Auburn would beat UNC.

Virginia beat UNC, and Virginia is pretty bad this year.

Ohio State will make the playoff.

Too talented.

Too big of a fan base.

Too much money including them.

And one of the 4 best teams.

and what else? beating a 4 loss Auburn team?

wins?

Vanderbilt---- 0-9
Florida- 3 losses
Arkansas- 7 losses
Miss St. 7 losses
Arkansas 7 losses
S. Carolina 8 losses

Bingo. Florida is a good win for sure but the Clemson team ND beat in November is better than every single team on this list. Florida is the only team with a chance to beat that Clemson team on a neutral field. Carolina is better than all of these teams except Florida as well. Auburn wasn't good this year. The refs handed them 2 games earlier with shitty calls vs Arkansas and Ole Miss. That's really a 4-6 football team.

I'm more willing to listen to an argument for Oklahoma over ND instead of A&M. There's really no case when you compare resumes. ND with better wins and made a conference title game. At least with OU they have 3 top 20 wins and a conference title but losing to a 4-6 K-State team would still have me leaning towards ND

What are you talking about?

Damn you exaggerate like hell.

And what good team did Miami beat? Or did they just beat up on the weak in the ACC?

Seems mainly the bold.

The Canes played 3 teams who were ranked at the time the game was played and were 1-2.

They won @#18 Louisville 47-34.

They lost @#1 Clemson 42-17.

They lost to #17 UNC 62-26.

You do realize that's been the case in every conference this year? There's very little difference in Miami and a team like Georgia for example. Georgia beat up on the bad SEC teams while getting stomped out by the 2 good teams they faced. If you're playing strictly conference games then you'll be playing quite a few bad teams

Yes there is though

Georgia would kill Miami.

The difference is that the middle of the SEC is on par with the Miami’s and the UNC’s.

Being bad in the ACC and being bad in the SEC do not equate. Because in the SEC the middle of the pack are all good teams that would be near the top of other power conferences.

There's literally nothing to prove what you're saying is true this season so we need to stop the assumptions. I have nothing that tell me LSU would have been some powerhouse in the ACC or BIG....same goes for Auburn who needed the refs assistance to beat Arkansas and Ole Miss. I'll give you Georgia being good in other conferences but thats about it. The teams that finished below Georgia in the conference wouldn't do anything in the other power 5 conferences
