Duke Basketball 2020-2021

The season will open again with the annual Champions Classic matchup, which has featured Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Michigan State for the past nine years and will be entering its tenth year this November. The Blue Devils get the draw of Michigan State this Fall, while Kansas and Kentucky face off against each other in the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The past two years saw the event become the unofficial start to the college basketball season, and will be one of Duke's first games. Duke's overall record in the Champions Classic is an event best 6-3, and they have a 3-0 record over the Spartans

Ugh, the football team.They are the most uninspired team I've ever seen at Duke, and that says something right there. Yes, 10 days from the season starting in basketball. Gardner-Webb is the first team they face. Duke already has a couple of injuries as usual. I'm hoping they are healed up by the season opener.

The Wolfpack haven't been too bad this season. The games I watched were pretty entertaining. They should have won that Miami game.

I think I saw on the news tonight that the entire NCAA Basketball Tournament will be played in a bubble in Indianapolis. Is that correct? If so, Raleigh will miss hosting a regional I think. Like I said, I got to do some studying on college basketball before the season begins.

I don't think the NCAA has decided where actually, but they are talking about settling to a one venue tournament. Maybe Indianapolis. I don't know how that will work. Looks like an attempt at the NBA model bubble, but the NBA had several courts inside the bubble. Maybe the NCAA can pull it off. We shall see.
