16 team league ( so rosters are not strong) full PPR, dynasty.

My first thought was nope, not trading my first for a couple of old players and a emergency fill in RB. Then I started considering that with Godwin out and having bench Crowder, I got WW material at WR in this league for now. Davis and Ingram are flew worthy I think and with byes coming up the depth will actually be real handy. My roster isn't great at all, but in a 16 team league most aren't. Thoughts? Decline and take my lumps so I can use that first next year to build? I was middle of the pack last year and likely do a little bit better this year even if I stand pat, so likely pick 1.09 to 1.11 which isn't ideal to add talent. Or accept and hope the addition depth boosts me enough to make a run? I'm leaning towards accepting and going for it, but I worry that is pie in the sky thinking on my part.

First thing...are you a contender this year realistically?

Mike Davis...lets say CMC is out till week 9. Is Davis really going to be useful after that game or even in the future? He might help you for a couple weeks.
Sanders...Thomas is injured but that shouldn't last long either like CMC. Aging and a question mark. He doesn't help you much even with MThomas out.
Ingram will be useful this year of course but Dobbins will most likely takeover next year and Ingram is likely gone.

This immediately helps your depth but future wise it doesn't help you at all. Is your 1st round pick valued like a real draft? The better you are the worse it is...it won't me as much losing it then...

reject, I never think the "hey, here's a bunch of stuff from my bench" garage sale tactic is a good one, but understand the allure

only way I'd accept is if you truly think you have a shot at the title, but I'd want a better WR than Manny Sanders if that's your position of need

yea post your team and record... the way I look at it, in a 16 team league, you will be lucky to draft a starter in the rookie draft if you pick after 6... and if your team is good now, then it cant hurt to make it better for the short term...

Mike davis is more than just bench fodder... But I do see your point, Sanders and Ingram are very low ceiling guys, and even in a deep league they seem replaceable...

Think he means he will be bench fodder once cmac is back, and on the attack

But how valuable will he be when CMC returns and is healthy? Probably a bench warmer right? Definitely could give you 4 to 5 games of real, solid production though.
Sanders has done nothing spectacular, in for a deep league.
Ingram hasn't seen more than 10 touches in a game.

My thoughts also, but he's got Sutton, Kupp and Shenault of note and I don't see him trading any of those.

Yeah once CMC returns Davis won't be playable and Ingram will be on the bench until byes/ injuries happen most likely, but he'll be way better then anyone else off my bench. Sanders isn't appealing but I'm in a pickle with WRs until Godwin returns.

I don't care if you are a contender or not. I say HARD NO.
That first isn't all that valueable. I had the 1.08 last year and I got Godwin during the off season. Pretty sure I'll be picking later next draft. Be different if I though I had like a top 6 pick.

The value is just to make the playoffs. You can figure out how to win without him.
But yea if your team is hopeless right now. Then he might not even make the team good enough now.

These large leagues elevate players value, especially with the run of injuries this season. 12 team league I would never consider it.

To give you an idea on thin some rosters are, both Sanders and Davis were in his starting lineup. Benches are crap, might be a couple worthy to put into a lineup ( per roster) for a bye or injury the rest would make you want to puke if you were forced to start.

Yeah that's what I thought...not that valuable but you can probably get more for it?..

What about a counter? Like could you get one player for him...I would look into it

His players of note David Johnson, Ronald Jones, Kupp, Sutton Shenault, and Reagor. He's rebuilding so the young guys like Shenault or Reagor are likely off the board. Doubt he's willing to trade Sutton ( I won't if I was him), Kupp maybe but is he that valuable IDK. Do not want Jones ( that's final!) not big on Johnson.......

I would reject...

This year or not, those players will not make or break you into/out of the championship. 16 teams or not.
