no way to know but he looked fine. his count was in the 80's i believe.Clutch walkoff by the kid....and what a performance by Dunning!!! A no-no thru 5 with 7k's and only 1 BB before being pulled. I didn't see the game, but I'm guessing he was on some kind of pitch count......or was he starting to look a bit gassed? Inquiring minds want to know.
So then it must have been a pitch count. It's a shame having to pull a pitcher who is tossing a no hitter, but with so little action he's seen so far in '20, it's better to play it safe than sorry. It's just too bad the Sox relievers couldn't protect the lead. Dunning deserved a W for his performance.no way to know but he looked fine. his count was in the 80's i believe.
I would say that motto has taken over most of mlb play the past handful of years. This team? Nah f*ck that..."It's dongs and K's."

Still happy to have Madrigal spray hitting - base stealing - and defense. Go Sox!
