the irony for Nebraska fans is just too sweet.. they left the Big 12 for not having a voice since it was too Texas-centric.. Now they are in the B16 and still have no voice..lol
You said it.....worldwide conspiracy...I just repeated it....God you are such a little pussy
But all of these decisions are weighing risk/reward. Educating students comes before entertaining people. Ultimately, amateur sports right now are an unnecessary risk.I don't think the virus cares if you're reading a book or playing a game before it infects you
College Football was never happening.
The NFL will play
LETS FUCKING GOOOO NEBRASKA!!!
Come play with the SEC and ACC
well because one is a risk for education, the other is a risk for entertainment.
From what I hear if the B12 stays course the SEC will also and there is behind the scenes dialog taking place right now.Within 2 weeks every conference will do the same. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.
Football was never happening this fall
Come Join the SEC for 2020. It will be fun watching y’all play Bama,LSU, Barn, and UGAI don't think Ohio State is going to go down without some kind of fight. Theres really not much they can do in terms of changing the decision. But it could get ugly.
They still are the safest kids on campus; it's not like they're leaving. They just aren't traveling around the midwest. We have no idea what the long-term effects of COVID are. This heart stuff is coming out and it's particularly bad, even for young people. So your blanket statement is unknown. That would make sense if it weren't for the fact that football players would be the safest people on campus.
They can be more or less isolated to the football facilities, they are tested at least twice a week (how many times a week are the other students getting tested?) and they have immediate access to to high level medical care.
I'd bet that they are more likely to be killed or see serious effects from an actual football injury than from catching Covid.
Especially if they are forced to play 2 seasons in 1 calendar year.
Because the football players can have something of a bubble created for them, I'd say that you're probably more likely to see an outbreak on campus among the regular students than among the football players.
