OT - I'm bored

i think football is slow. 10 second play followed by standing there for 25 seconds. and the clock runs while they stand there. i bet there is less than 30 minutes of actual play in a football game.

Yeah, but I think baseball is the only sport where the coach and catcher can run up, on the field, in the middle of the game and have a 3-5 minute chat with the pitcher without calling a TO. Seriously WTF!?

well technically they did call TO, they just have unlimited # of TOs

They actually do have to call a time out. The difference is that there is on limit on how many are called.

He's got real power, but he was not an All-Star this season. Joey Votto is the biggest snub I've seen in years. His WAR is 4.0, and only Justin Morneau (4.8), Robinson Cano (4.4), Carl Crawford (4.3), and David Wright (4.1) have been more valuable. He's been as valuable as Josh Hamilton, and that's saying something. He's been the single best first baseman in the National League this year and should be the All-Star starter.
