I don't think they will, unless the California schools quit NCAA football.

In the long run, Oregon will sink into the sea. Now, the University of Oregon at Montana is another whole thing.

They have a legitimate national championship.

Kind of. I know you want to ignore 1991 Miami so we forget about that bowl game, but we'll never forget. Washington didn't get the real championship in 1991. But a coaches' poll championship is more legit than their other "national championships." You know, the ones where they were like #5 or #6 but still claimed it for some baffling reason. 1990 is my favorite claimed year. They had a worse record than Colorado and lost to Colorado but just plugged up their ears and went "La La La La! Not listening. We're the champions! La La La La!"

That's not my question.

Washington claims three national championships.

The Huskies took a page out of Bama's playbook.

Oregon is outrecruiting the California schools...has more to do with the concentration of talent in the Southeastern US.

Who knows 10 years from now but it’s obvious in the next 4 years the Ducks are the only remote chance the PAC has.
