I'm out of the loop man. I got the Xbox 360 when it first came out as a Father's Day gift, but had it in storage for over a year.

When I tried to play it a couple of months ago, the rings of death payed me a visit.

The earlier Xbox's had an overheating issue that caused the unit to stop working. This is what you would see:

I guess you can send it back to them and just pay for the shipping and handling, and they take care of the rest? Others have told me that they had to pay some money to have it fixed?
