I first saw him play in 1970 playing for the Lakers. In fact, it was the first professional basketball game I ever saw live.

My aunts were Phoenix Suns season ticket holders and took me expecting that I'd become a Suns fan...the Lakers came out with Wilt, The Logo, Elgin Baylor, etc. and I have been a Lakers fan ever since. lol

I also saw him play volleyball at UC Irvine, in 1974 with his travelling team that he had in the off-season. He patted me on the top of the head when I asked him for an autograph...I went home and told my parents that I was never washing my hair again.
