UMn is, or at least has been, so irrelevant yet it is the only B1G team your Ducks can claim a better record than?


Why? Mn has the facilities, the money, he's pulling in recruits from all over the country and even the world(1 from Germany and 1 from Australia recently). His wife loves the state, he loves his place on lake Minnetonka, he likes the challenge, his dream has always been to coach in the B1G, he's a midwest guy.

MN is not a final stop school for any good coach, it is a stepping stone. If Fleck is as good as you think he is he will be gone in a couple years.

WRONG. UMn spends MORE than OSU when it come to recruiting. Not sure how long it's been that way, but that is the current situation. And UMn recruiting has been one of the most improved, while OSU has taken a step back. Not that it will mean anything, but you never know?

Oh, and UMn's totally stepped up their Facilities situation. Where does Ohio St rank? I simply don't remember them being mentioned? Maybe I skipped over them? Or maybe they were not ranked highly? lol I mean, you willing to let UMn outspend you in recruiting? Just saying.

Yeah, and Fortune 500 is a little misleading as 5 of the companies are Fortune 100. And 12 are Fortune 250.

Those Top 5 companies in the Top 100, they employ almost a million people, close to 900,000 to be more accurate. In a state of only 5 million, that's like 20% of the population. Remember many are old and don't work and many are young and too young to work. So those 5 companies alone employ 20% of the population of the entire state. WOW!!! Well, that's probably exaggerating things a bit as I'm sure there are Target's and Best Buys located outside of the state of Minnesota and I know my company CHS has locations outside of Minnesota, but that's still a large # of employees, 900,000+ US Bancorp employs another 75,000+, General Mills employs another 40,000, SuperValu another 23,000, Land O Lakes another 10,000, Ecolab another 49,000. That's close to another 200,000 and that's only 9 of the top 12.

First one I looked up, Micheal W Wright, played for the Gopher FB team, won a Grey Cup title in 1961, in 1977 was named Sr VP of SuperValu, in 1978 was named COO & President and remained President until 2001. On 1981 he was named CEO and remained such until 2001, and was named Chairman of the Board in 1982 and remained such until 2002.
