ESPN has Nndi listed as the 29th best DT. I think that's a little low...

Speaking of Nnadi, some dude just gave VT the nod this morning in the crystal ball predictions.

Also, I am sure Nnadi would be top 10 on ESPN's list if he came out and named OSU or FSU his leader.

CavsCorner.com - Competitive nature gives Da'Shawn upper Hand

"I was at the movies (on a date) and we were about to get popcorn and this family comes up to me and the guy was like, 'Oh, my God, you need to go to Virginia Tech,' " Hand said. "I am just like, 'Oh, my goodness,' and then I have to take pictures with him and his family." - See more at: CavsCorner.com - Competitive nature gives Da'Shawn upper Hand

The point being what? Michigan and Alabama fans aren't like that?

Pleeeeez.

Not to take anything away from Ford, I really don't know a lot about him, but I am pretty resistant to the idea of a non-dual threat quarterback at Virginia Tech. Every other quarterback that has a legitimate shot of playing on the team has the ability to get yards with their feet. I know it plays more to Loeffler's strengths, but what about the rest of the team, such as the offensive line, that have adjusted to blocking for a more mobile quarterback? I think he would have to be a really, really good pro style quarterback to make it worth it.

1st, I would say that with the terrible offensive lines we've had of late, it would take a freak athlete to be able to perform at QB, not a dual threat guy specifically. Logan can make some plays with his legs from time to time, but I would hardly call him a 'dual-threat.'
But really, watch Ford's film. He does a pretty good job of feeling pressure, stepping up in a collapsing pocket, he makes throws on the run, and can use his feet when he has to. By the time he sees the field, you have to think our OL will be completely overhauled by a real OL coach, too. We'll be fine at QB.

Yes, I'm sure it happens with a lot of schools fan bases. For Hand to say this, IMO, something major happened between VT and Hand to turn him off from VT. I mean ya'll went from being in the 'driver's seat', to not even getting the time of day it seems. Maybe I'm just reading into it too much, it just feels like Hand really has a bone to pick with VT.

He was timed at 4.6 in one of the camps. So he is likely 4.7 which will get more yards than you think when he needs to. He won't be a Tyrod or a Vick but he will be an LT minus the truck stick.

Wow....figured he would ride it out until close to signing day. Has he even visited Bama or FSU? Does VT have a legit shot?

I think we have a punchers chance but would have felt a lot better if he had waited longer and taken visits. I think he will be a Hoo.

In other awesome news, Thomas Smith did not qualify.

If Brown goes to Whoville, I think out chances with Nnadi go up a ton.

Sounds like Moorehead needs to be working the trail hard. Hopefully, Ford can get in with some top WR's.

Someone explain to me how VT can lose out on guys like Brown and Street to ACC cellar dwellers like UVA and NCSU? We need to get Street back to Blacksburg ASAP.

I see that the Carolina Regions Mgr. picked NCSU on 247 for Street but I don't think that is anything to panic over

Apparantly Steet had good things to say about a recent visit to NC State....I believe there is a pay article on rivals.
Also, someone at 247 said Street tweeted this:
"N.C State visit today went AMAZING. Big S/O to #PackNation!!!! Starting to feel at home here."

I dont buy into tweets much at all especially right after a visit. Players always have good stuff to say about the schools they just visited.

And if they don't, that school's coaches needs to refine their ass kissing techniques or find new football groupies.
