If that is the Chargers motivation, that isn't going to work. This isn't Lebron James and the NBA. Brady is an aging QB with declining skills. If the Chargers are 2-4 six games into the season and struggling, no one is going to care that Brady is playing QB

Not the only motivation, but has to be a factor given their poor drawing ability in even that tiny soccer shed without the majority supporting the visiting team.

Getting past all the SportsHoopla of it being Tom Brady, from a Raiders perspective why would they want a 43 y/o QB?

The only answer can be...they think they can make the playoffs with Brady in '20. Worry about '21 later.
