We didn't look ahead. We were playing a Vikings team the media 100% downplayed as an easy win. Green Bay has a lot of flaws and I do believe Dalvin Cook would have ran all over them. In fact, had he been healthy in the week 16 game, the Packers are the 3 seed and playing in the wild card round. This Packers team did not have the edge positions the Vikings had to beat the Saints. Cook>Jones, Mattison>Williams, Rhodes>Packers CB, Vikings run defense and defensive line>Packers run defense and defensive line. In fact, it's well known Brees weakness is a dirty pocket. Green Bay would have not been a problem there.

If Saints had a bye they don't lose to the Packers if Rodgers does not play his best. The Saints with the bye are in this NFCCG. End of story.
