I've come around to :pops:' point of view. Wild. 7 teams could still win this. 10 can still end the season bowl eligible.

But of course not all of them can win the conference, and in the process of determining the division reps, teams will lose the chance for eligibility.

The most exciting thing is the conference dogfight. Most of the contenders in the Legends are about to face the toughest stretch in their schedule.

(Legends)
Michigan State, 4-1, >:( Iowa, vs Indiana, @Northwestern:
Michigan, 3-2, >:( Illinois, vs Nebraska, vs Ohio State:
Nebraska, 3-2, >:( Penn State, @ Michigan, vs Iowa:
Iowa, 3-2, :vs Michigan State, @Purdue, @Nebraska

Northwestern is technically eliminated, but they are sneaky, and they will play their best football down the stretch to earn a bowl game. Hosting the Spartans for the last game of the year....they could play spoiler for MSU if it's Nebraska who wins out. Iowa could shake things up right away this Saturday with a win over Michigan State, and Nebraska could give Penn State their first strike and hang in as a top contender.

(Leaders)
Penn State, 5-0, :vs Nebraska, @ Ohio State, @ Wisconsin:
Ohio State, 3-2, >:( Purdue, vs Penn State, @ Michigan
Wisconsin, 3-2, >:( Minnesota, @ Illinois, vs Penn State:

Illinois is mathematically eliminated. Even if Penn State loses their remaining games and Illinois wins out, the Lions have a head to head win over Illinois. However, the Illini will look to play spoiler and gain bowl eligibility. Minnesota is improving, and could derail rival Wisconsin next Saturday. The biggest game should be Nebraska @ Penn State if tOSU and Wisconsin handle business on the road(which is a big ? mark).

It can get wilder yet if all the contenders win this week except for Penn State. If Penn State wins, things start to clear up a bit. But even then, this weekend will not eliminate anyone unless Iowa loses.

If Iowa can find a way to beat MSU this wekend then we could potentially have 3 games the alst week of the year with HUGE title game implication in Nebraska-Iowa, Wisconsin-PSU and Ohio State-Michigan. Even the NW-MSU game the last weekend could be a great one if NW continues their uptick and has bowl eligibility on the line.

The biggest game is Ohio State-Penn State for obvious reasons. One team will lose their ability to control their own destiny, and considering how easy our schedule is, they will be eliminated for all functional purposes. The key for us (besides winning out) is for the winner of that game to have another loss (besides Penn State to us). This means if Penn State beats OSU, we need them to lose to Nebraska, and if OSU beats Penn State, we need them to lose @ Purdue or @ Michigan. Being an optimist, I think OSU beats Penn State but loses to Michigan. We win out, while Penn State also loses to Nebraska, making us the onlly 6-2 team.

On the Legends side, MSU should win out, but we know things don't always go as planned. I think MSU loses at Iowa this week, making the Nebraska-Michigan game akin to a division title game. I'm split on that game, but in the end I think Nebraska takes it then beats up on Iowa to set up a Nebraska-Wisconsin rematch.

Even if Michigan were to win their game against Nebraska they still need MSU to lose another one even if the Spartans lose to Iowa. Only thing I know for sure is that only 3 teams control their own destiny and mine is one of them :) so Im all good. LOL.

Ohio State @ Michigan might be setting up nicely for one team to destroy the other's conference title hopes again

I LOVE IT.

this game means more than the rest of the 11 games combined.

Dick Rod ruined it.

It's great to have it back(even though this year WE had to stoop to their level and not the other way around)

I honestly don't know who is gonna win just like every year through 2007.

I hope we can beat down Purdon't and PSU to set up the final game.

Michigan needs alot of shit to happen for them to win the division. They already have lost the tiebreaker to iowa and MSU so they basically need to win out, have Iowa lose and MSU to lose 2 times. Tough to do when MSU plays Iowa, NW and Indiana. Basically Michigan needs Iowa to beat MSU, MSU to lose to NW, Iowa to lose to Nebraska and then ( oh yeah this too) Michigan needs to beat Illinois, Nebraska and OSU :) LOL. I think Michigan is officially effed.

Northwestern is, and probably always will be one of the biggest pains in everyone's asses. They recruit high IQ players. they always seem to have great coaching. They usually have one or two pros and a few speedsters. They execute game plans unbelievably well. They will find the cracks in your team and break them open if they can. They do "more with less" than any program out there.

Until they play MSU that is, then I wish them nothing but rainbows and butterflies.

Penn State had better lose this weekend... their program is distracting everyone from a great conference race and college football in general.
