36 pass attempts vs 22 rushing carry's (19 if you don't count Eason's). The RB's were averaging over 4 yards per carry so can someone please explain to me why there's so many passing attempts vs rushing attempts even though the passing game wasn't working from the beginning.

I think it's a case of coaches over coaching. I'll admit I'm old, but I remember teams with 15 or less passing attempts winning games. With the running game the defense gets worn down as the game progresses and the runs get longer and longer. For some odd reason Washington coaches either haven't learned of this concept or they flat out don't give a shit. Either way it's costing Washington wins.
