Do we put CBB in here or go with a pro sport? I know, it's still basketball but it's something we have never done.

OR

We can mix it up and do tennis or golf (I would prefer golf).

For the baseball years are we going first year in the MLB or do they just have to have played during one of those years?

I believe we should use they had to have played in one of the years but if y'all want it to be their first year we can do that.

No I think it should be definitely played in one of those years and not first year. Just wanted to clarify.

I'd also prefer golf if we must. College hoops would be my vote if we aren't doing nba

Im not completely opposed to hockey but I'd have to brush up on current players

NFL

You must draft SIX players from each decade.
1970's
1980's
1990's
2000's

You must draft 3 on offense and 3 on defense for each decade.

MLB

18 players. You must pick SIX players from each block of years.

1952 - 1955
1982 - 1985
2012 - 2015

You must draft 3 pitchers and 3 hitters from each block of years.

???

Still deciding on what the third sport should be.

I don't like it... I want there to be same restrictions for all leagues so we can trade players more fluidly...

I think having 3 different drafts in one draft is stupid... Make it One giant draft, everyone is treated equally

how about simply

Must start career (1960-2010)

and then do a salary cap, 4 or 5 AS per player...

you can punt any league you want... if you want to...

I thought the original idea was for this to be a salary draft...I don't mind this idea but was really looking forward to the super salary cap draft

huh?? it would be a super salary cap draft... if the three sports are basketball, baseball and football and we have 50 players

then the cap would be 200 or 250 all together...

if you want to spend the majority of it on one sport that's ok... just might hurt ya in the voting...

I will say, I think instead of a 3 sport super draft, an NFL super draft could be fun. I also think it could be done quickly

We do it by position groups. So say I choose the 93 Cowboys backfield. When I make that pick, I get Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Moose Johnston(or any other back I wanted instead). Then when I select my 2nd offensive backfield, I choose the 86 Niners and I automatically get Montana, Joe Grubbs and Roger Craig. Those 6 are on my roster and i'd list Montana, Emmitt and Moose starters with Craig as the 3rd down back.

Off Backfield: QB, RB, FB X 2 picks = 6
WR/TE: 2 WR, TE X 2 picks = 6
OL: 5 OL X 2 picks = 10
DL: 4 DL X 2 picks = 8
LB: 3 LB X 2 picks = 6
DB: 4 DB X 2 picks = 8

That would give everyone a 44 man roster...in a 12 round draft. Obviously, DL/LB numbers could flip for 4-3/3-4. Also could add 2 special team picks with K, P, KR, PR and add 8 more players for a 52 man roster...and still only have 14 rounds in the draft

Not that anyone cares but I say do that NFL idea for a separate draft...roll with a Super salary cap draft...you can spend as you like. But we have to think about something especially for MLB...pre 1933 should all players be $20 or just make a year restriction. Ruth and Walter special prices...obviously if we do 1933 to 2005 we wont have to worry about that but then it cuts out a lot of players....

how about make it a 4 sports Basketball/Hockey/football/basketball

10 basketball, 16 Hockey, 18 baseball and 22 Football= 66 total

you can only draft 32 HOF and have a MAXIMUM of 30 MVP/CY/ Defensive/offensive player of the year(only 1 counts per year)

window (must start career) 1960-2010
