Excellent idea.

I would be open to lowering the HR total and including dead ball players.

750 is perfect.

I think 500 works, I like drafts where we eliminate some players. I think it's common knowledge I hate super drafts.

I think we could add something for hits or a number of .300 avg guys, something to restrict the players of yesteryear.

So just leave everything as is and no more than 5 .300 hitters?

Two 22.0 or more
Two 17-21.9
Two 12-16.9
Two 8-11.9
Two under 8.0

I would enjoy this type of draft if we tried it for NFL as well.

I wouldn't mind expanding this one to 15 players. 3 lineups, you use one lineup for one half BUT you can only use one 22+ ppg in that lineup and you have to use 7.99 ppg player in that lineup...

3 - 21.99-17 ppg
4 - 16.99-12 ppg
4 - 11.99-8 ppg
2 - 7.99 or less ppg

UK's is good. We should just keep it at 10 players with 2 in each of the ranges.

Maybe an idea for a future draft would be 2 lineups. Each lineup could only have a total of the following:

Combined:
80 PPG (16 points per person)
30 RPG (6 rebounds per person)
20 APG (5 assists per person)

Numbers could be altered but something to that effect.

I think it's tough to mix individual and team sports... we've done a golf/tennis/boxing/misc individual sport before and it was pretty sweet. Like 4 of each with the 4 misc being any individual sport athletes you wish so long as they weren't one of the other 4. Or could also just make the 4th category like Olympics or something

MLB - 16 (9 position, 4 starters, 3 relief)
NBA - 10 (two half lineups)

$240 Cap. We use the same weighted point scale that we did in the last super draft.
